A group of documentary film makers receive a mysterious call inviting them to a modern-day replica of serial killer H.H. Holmes ‘Murder Castle’. But on arrival they soon discover they’re being watched, and even manipulated, and suddenly there is much more at stake than just their ratings…

The Devil In Me expanded upon the series' core mechanics to include a more expanded set of exploration mechanics such as climbing, vaulting, balancing, shimmying, among others; and a simple character-driven inventory system giving each member of our cast a number of tools to be found, used, improved and lost over the course of the game.

The game was published by Bandai Namco released in November 2022 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.

I joined the project early in pre-production helping to create the game's narrative and characters, developing exciting scenarios and designing and balancing a multitude of new mechanics such as the Camera Flash and the fan-favourite Directional Microphone. Part way through the project, I moved into the role of Lead Games Designer on the project leading a team of 22 designers ensuring good morale, communication and an ability to deliver the Game Director’s vision.
